Hi all, Our Family friend, KC has gone missing on the 25th April 2010 at arnd 4pm. Last seen around Toh Yi Estate/ Jln Jurong Kechil which is the HDB flats behind bukit timah market. KC is a 6 yr old kelpie cross with a short and shiny black brown coat, mid sized abt... 2ft tall stout build and has a white stripe on her chest with 2 distinct white patch on the tip of her hind legs. She has just been flown in frm Australia and has been microchipped. She is greatly missed by us and hope to be reunited with her soon. Anyone who may have seen her or is kind enough to house her at the moment, please contact us at 9853 0640. A reward of S$400 will be given for her safe return. Your help is greatly appreciated. This morning as I was walking my dog home, I came across a Mother and son abandon their dog. The pair were walking alongside Lowland Road headed towards Kovan MRT station with their female Jack Russell Terrier walking slightly ahead of them UNLEASHED. When the JRT saw my dog, it came towards my dog and growled, I immediately carried my dog up and I asked the pair why they hadnt leashed their dog. They ignored me, continued walking, the JRT followed them but as soon as I put my dog onto the ground again, the JRT turned around walked towards my direction, whereupon the boy in his blue/white school uniform called out to their dog, "Didi, come here". The dog responded. The Mother had her arms on the boy shoulders as this happened as if asking the son to ignore the dog.

I then walked on, heading for home but I felt something wasnt quite right as I rationalised with myself. The boy was in his school uniform, the mother was in her working clothes and the dog was UNLEASHED. Immediately I realised that they had meant to abandon the dog. I looked at my watch, it was 615am. I immediately turned around and walked towards the MRT station. True enough, the dog had been abandoned and was pacing up and down looking for its owner.

I carried my dog as I didnt want them to growl at each other, asked the dog to follow me home. It did follow me for a short distance and after that went back to the place where it had been abandoned. As there were passing cars and I didnt have an extra leash, I put my dog on the ground and as the JRT came towards my dog, I scooped it up and carried it home. It is now in my home and I am looking for someone who may want to adopt her.

She seems ok and her growling may have been out of fear. She didnt want to eat when I fed her.

Could the authorities please look into such cases of abandonment and if no action is taken against such irresponsible dog owners, this will only encourage this trend to continue.

Please let me know how I can help. I can try wait at the same spot same time but I dont have the jurisdiction take down their particulars to feedback to U.

I have been very busy with work and dogs...and been lazy to update the blog too..sooo sorry for the being MIA from the blog for soo long...

Here's some updates..will post photo up soon...

Pirate - This naughty boy has been real good boy..i think he realised that i have been swamped with work and helping the dogs at the shelter during weekends...so he dont really disturb me of give me trouble..he all along has been a independent dog and does not make me feel guilty for not having spend enough time with him..he is really my sweet good boy....i am blessed to have him..really...

GerGer - Been bringing her back home every weekend and spending quality time with her and pirate..whenever she is back..pirate will be super happy and they will play like crazy...but only for that inital 15 mins..then they will chill and not be bothered about each other haha..but i noe both of them are happy to see each other every weekend..gerger is super fat now haha been eating too much at my fren's place...

Bobby - Gone to new home..Doing well and managed to lose some of his weight (he was abit overweight last time round)..visit him fortnightly and bring him to the dog run too...new owner loves him and he is settling in well

Buddy - Just visited him last weekend...a happy boy doing great at his home and hanging out well with the owner's small children..but he had some skin allergy and lost quite abit of his fur and kept scratching his face...owner had both spray for it and hopefully he will recover soon...love him to bits...

PomPom - Last visited her 1 or 2 months back..now she can really run..not stable but can run and jump..have built a strong bond with owner's mum and the mum super love her and pompom gets to sleep with her every night :) She is happy..very happy i should say...

Pixie - Doing well at shelter and putting on more weight..but a few more kg to go...she is a contented ger and seem to love the shelter...gentle sweet little thing recognize me whenever i visit every weekend...she gets along well with her shelter mates and is a sweetie pie...if i have my own place..i will not hestiate to bring her back immediately hehe....

Pirate hasnt been eating much since he came back from boarding..so last sat brought him to the vet to do a blood, urine & poo test...outcome - everything is fine...vet issued vitamin b complex to pirate to get him to eat more...vet says he is just being fussy...haiz i tink i must have spoilt him...spent a whopping $190 for this vet visit and luckily he is fine...if he is not fine i might be spending even more $...thank goodness.. i tink i chould starve him so he know how to treasure his food....

Sorry for the lack of updates....been busy this week and also partly lazy to blog...

bobby is settling well in his new home...but we realized one thing when we brought him to the dog run..bobby has been sterilised but he loves to go hump other dogs still and worse still he only humps male dogs :S can someone tell me y?

ger & pirate doing fine..brough ger to dog run for the first time and she was so sticky that when i off leash her..she refuse to go mingle ard and stick with me the whole time, never leaving me more than a metre away...it was a funny sight because i wanted her to have the free run...play with other dogs...but she chose to stick by my side..which kinda defeat the purpose of me bringing her to the dog run right? haha my sweet loyal ger...Pirate has been a brat refusing to eat his dry food again and only eats when i give him can food...i hope he is not sick....both pai & ger will be going vet next month for their vaccine & checkup..hope all goes well...

Went to visit pixie too...she is sooooo happy at the shelter..that when i want to bring her out of the shelter...she simply refuse to...i tink she is too comfortable at the shelter with all her good frens and nice volunteer taking gd care of her...she has been active, eating well and all but dont seem to be gaining much weight though...will bring her to sterilise next month..hopefully she will gain some weight after that...

Will find time next week to visit buddy & pompom...

Bobby went to potential adopter home yesterday..will be on 1 week trial..hopefully all goes well...he needs time to adjust...to new owner...new home and new environment...i hope he will be happy...coz i want to see him so..

Brought pixie to vet to have her vaccine & microchip...she had ringworm on the nose and is on some applied medicine..so far she is happy at the shelter..made new frens and happy..drove her to vet and she was nervous that she poo in the car lol...other than that she is a well behaved ger in the car and at the vet...very tame ger...

Brought ger home on sat...this get getting fatter lol having a gd life at A's place lol..Pirate as usual forever happy to see gerger come hm and they play like mad..pirate has been a fussy eater again! refuse to eat his dry food..and going on hunger strike...i tink he is getting bored of his dryfood..

Will find some time to visit buddy & pompom next week....been busy recently for pixie & bobby...

will be going for a short genting trip this coming weekend..first time i will be away from pirate for 3 days..i am starting to worry if he will cope ok at M&M (he wil be board there for the 3 days)...i will miss my dear boy and hope he will do fine...i needed this long awaited break..and hope bobby, ger, pirate n pixie will do fine during my this short trip...i cant help but worry because i will not be in spore and if anything happen..how am i gona rush back in time..i tink i am being too paranoid....

Busy Weekend with the furkids....

The weekend has been busy...busy but satisfying....sat was spent with gerger and pirate..both crazy furkids played like mad lol...cant blame them coz they only get to see each other once a week...

sunday went down to shelter to bathe pixie...she was struggling and screaming at the top of her lungs when i tried to bathe her...had to quickly bathe her and let her calm down..this is the first time i see a dog soooooo scared of bathing...pixie has settled in really well at the shelter and even has a playmate...so relieved and happy to see her doing well...still need alot of food to pump her up though...after bathing her head to DRS to feed the dogs and clean their area...took us 2 - 3 hrs to do so...so much hardwork but happy to see the happy looks in their face...

Was supposed to bring bobby to meet potential adopter on sat morning but his owner was admitted to hopsital on fri night thus had to postpone the meet up to this coming weekend...i hope everything goes well...time is running out for bobby now that owner (the main caregiver) is in hospital..the owner hubby has to work, go to hospital and take care of bobby...its tough for him and i hope bobby is not neglected...i hope to get him to his foster home (jingjing home) this coming weekend after he meet his adopter...i want him to be well taken care of and not be neglected...i know jing and hubby zw will take good care of him during his stay there...but still hope he will find a forever home soon...as jing home already has 3 dogs and i dun want to overwhelm them too much...they are doing me a favour to take in bobby temporary..without them i wont be able to have done soo much...

Passing of Penny & PinPin - The 2 sweet angels...

Its heartbreaking to hear this news and even more diff to break this news...both pinpin and penny passed away...we duno what happened...i visited them on sunday and they were still active, bubbly and bouncing around...pixie mummy went to vet and nothing is wrong with her...wat could have happened that these 2 puppies were taken away so suddenly? they didnt even had the chance to be loved and they left the world so quickly...i cant help but feel sad..very very sad...i hope pixie will cope much better than me...

i wish i can rush down right now to give her a big hug..i wish i had done more to keep the puppies alive...i wish i could do many more things...but circumstances do not allow me to...i have done my very best but never expected this kind of tragic ending...the picture i had in my mind was to see all go to good homes and be loved forever..i didnt expect this...haiz...

i need to get back on my feet soon..i hope i will be ok very soon..it takes time to heal...

Pixie – She is a very gentle ger…gets along very well with other dogs and loves human company…I haven’t heard her bark till date and she is non-barky. She is very skinny weighing at most 10kg and very small built for a mongrel..we are trying to pump her up but her appetite has not been good (our guess is that she is still not used to the new environment, will bring her to the vet if it’s persistent) She is still very timid now and really sticks close to her me and human she trust. When strangers come, she will hide between our legs (but is not aggressive, just scared). She tends to struggle a bit when on collar and leash but is getting better everyday. She doesn’t tug on the leash but walk patiently beside you…do give her a chance to be loved again if you could…

Penny – Fluffy little puppy loves to explore and is quite laid back…

PinPin – energetic and loves to play and cuddle..

Updates on Pixie, Puppies & Bobby...

We have successfully shifted mummy pixie and her puppies to a shelter while they wait for adopters…mummy pixie enjoys human companion very much and is a pretty timid dog…will try to bring her our more often to socialize her….no doubt she is a very sweet young lady….trying to pump her up with more food as she is way too skinny…she is actually very small in built too…

Her puppies…pinpin & penny…penny is very playful and pinpin is a laid back dog..they still need to be with their mum for another 1 month before they can be adopted as they are still very young and would still need mum’s milk….also looking for foster for mum & pups if possible…do help spread the word ard.. Thanks!

*PS: Although they are very small in built, but they are not HDB approved dogs….

Missing Pan Pan

Pan Pan the white and black puppy is missing. Searched the whole area but couldnt find him...i suspect someone took him away because he is the cutest...I hope the person and family will take good care of panpan and treat him well...though i didnt spend alot of time with the pups..but somehow my heart still aches when i knew he went missing..esp so when i do not know whether he is dead or alive.. :( it hurts to think about it...thus i choose to believe that he is brought home by a kind soul..in this way it makes me feel better...

Hang in there pixie and family...be safe...be good...you will have shelter over your head very soon...you wont have to worry about not having enough to eat soon..u be protected from any harm too...just 4 more days and off pixie and family will be heading to a shelter...keeping my fingers crossed..

one thing at a time...now we have found a temporary holding place for pixie and family..planning to get hold of them and move them to the shelter this weekend...after they have settle down..pixie will be sent for sterilisation...afterwhich...will be the toughest part of work - finding a good home for mama pixie and pups..a family that will love them for who they are..appreciate and treasure them..stick with them through thick and thin..love and take good care of them till their very last breathe...sounds easy? Nah...rehoming is actually the toughest part of the work..

when you rehome dogs...you would naturally want the best for them...going through all form of communication to pass the word ard to get adopters..then you have to screen for adopters (even worse is when you have to worry when there are no adopters at all)...after rehoming..you have to ensure everything such as sterilisation, licensins etc. are all done..after they have gone to good home..you have to visit them once in a while to ensure that they are settling fine in their new home..at some point of time (which i dread the most) you will encounter cases where the dog is being returned to you due to adopter's many many excuses...i dread not because i have then got to rehome them again..i hate it when dogs are being returned and have to be rehomed again, because i hate to see them settling so well with their new home and then they have to start adapting to a new home again...this kind of emotional pain can be unbearable for them...

All the dogs which i rehomed, when returned to me, i would prefer to do the screening on my own..because i feel that even though they are not my dogs...but i am responsible for them as they are the dogs which i recused..my responsibility is still there...

thus this time round for bobby..i am still determine to find him a gd home that he deserves...i always believe every dog deserves a gd home...and i am sure there will be miracle..please help spread the word around for him and also pixie and family...the day bobby, pixie and pups go to a gd home (thats all i am asking for)...will be the day my mind can be at eased..and that's also when i can finally take a short holiday break (which i have been deprived off for many yrs)...i am starting to dream about it already :)

Temperament: Very friendly, gentle and docile. Good with humans. She is very trusting that she allowed me to touch her and her puppies the first time I met her. She is very small built, smaller than other mongrels you see.

Remarks: She is not sterilized as of date, 31/07/2009. Will be bringing her to be sterilized after she has finish feeding her pups, in 1mths time. She may be a mongrel, but will definitely make a good companion because she has a very gentle and amiable temper. My office has recently shifted and i have been feeding this very skinny and small built mongrel whom has just given birth..to 3 very cute and lovely pups (est 1-2mths old)... i am planning to have her sterilised and am looking for a place to house her and her sweet pups till they are old enough to be adopted...this female mongrel looks really young, probably 1-2yrs old..she is a very sweet and lovely lady because the first time i saw her..she came wagging her tail towards me..she allowed me to pat her during our first meeting (which is a concern to me..because she is very friendly to human beings and i am so afraid she will end up in the hands of the evil)..

If you or any of your friends can help foster the mum and pups while they grow up, do let me know. Or if you have any suggestions to board them temporary, do let me know too. And if you could help chip in or assist me in catching her for sterilisation in a mth's time, do contact me too. I want to help, but me alone would not be able to complete the task of catching her for sterilisation..

Pom Pom - First Home Visit

Visited Pompom yesterday. Our dear girl look sooo pretty...adopter's mum brought out the clothes which she sew for her...they look so beautiful esp on her...she is a happy gal, gets along well with the resident dog...still a fussy eater and still afraid of being left alone (she will howl when she's left alone)...but overall i can tell she is settling well at her new home...

her new mummies love her alot and she sticks to adopter's mum alot too....i am so glad that i made the trip down to visit our dear gal...i feel so blessed to see her doing so well at her new home and is being loved :)

she is getting better..and i witnessed her jump over the drain..wobbly though but she now has the strength to jump....everyday, she gets her daily walk up and down a slope and in the garden...what more can we ask for right?

Here's the picture of the Beagle (snoopy). Besides being very well mannered (extremely well mannered), potty trained and cute, the other details I could find about her are:

Female
2 years old at max (They live for about 12½ years)
From it's behavior, it seems like it was brought up very well and it knows how to climb stairs

Smart enough to use the footpath on the street & never cross the road when there's a car coming

It was left in front of our house with the collar taken off and we noticed it walking around very quietly, trying to find someone. It went to all the houses around just to look for her owner. On Friday, I made a police report and had her sent to SPCA.

SPCA is putting her up for adoption but we have time till Tuesday, July 7th 2009. If they can't find anyone by Wednesday, July 8th then they'll proceed to put her to sleep, which I am really against. I checked with them and they say that it is a very expensive dog because of its family/kids friendly nature, low maintenance cost and lack of hereditary disease. In states, they are sold for about 700 USD min.

Pom Pom has been officially adopted...she is with a good family and they love her alot..she has great food everyday..she can now walk and play..she is being loved and showered with hugs and kisses everyday...

This piece of news is the best news i can get...it makes me happy that all my effort has paid off...to hold on to the hope for her to recover..and now she has regained her life again...from a tiny dog that was close to being dead..and withing a month, her determination to live again..let her recover and now she is walking and enjoying her new life...new owner's mum even took the effot to sew her new clothese knowing that she might be cold due to her being shaved off...so sweet of them really..

A sweet ending is what keeps me motivated to help dogs out there...all my rescued dogs never fail me...they are dogs with strong and sweet character..they are lovely and all deserves a second chance..and indeed all 3 of them are in gd homes and living life again..wat more can i ask for :)

I wish pompom well and i hope the stupid owner see this and be remosrseful of what he/she did..pompom living such a gd life now is something that will put her ex owner in shame...despite all that u have done to her...disposing her like a rubbish..she has grown stronger everyday and living with a family which she can call home...she will from this day forget this heartless owner whom she decaded 6 yrs of her life to..she will from this day start anew and put all the bad past behind and never look back again...she will from this day live her life to the fullest and put u in shame...

Brought pom pom for a swim together with jinjing and her dog sidney today...our dear pompom i can say is 70% recovered...still wobbly but more stable than before...so glad to see her up again...and she's adorable too...just look at her in her outfits (donated by a kind lady)....

We had a few girls visited her at petgamart today too...i tink they really enjoy themselves with pompom :) she is just too cute to resist...

Our dear pom is quite a fussy eater...she refuses dry food and only wana eat wet food...but at the same time too much wet food would not be gd for her..so jingjing made the effort to cook food for this princess...she also hates to drink water...never once do i see her drink the water by herself....we have to force feed her...other than these 2 bad habits..overall she is still a sweet lady and gets along well with dogs and any other animals....

hi all back from the vet...after Dr Tan consultant he confirmed that pompom has hurt her central nerve, thus the reason why she is moving slowly and all her 4 legs cant move when found...but since the day we found her till date...she has improved tremendously...from a dog that only lies on her side till now she is crawling and when theres a chance for her to walk and move..she will not hesitate...we see the willpower in her to try and am glad that she is improving and am very sure she will be up and running in time to come...dr tan is optimistic about her too :)

Dr Tan advice us to bring her to swim and massage and we have been doing so...we hope to bring her for swim as often as possible as we realised swimming does help alot..initially she needed us to hold her body in order to swim...but today after the vet visit i brought her for a swim and am extremely surprised to see her moving her 4 limbs and she could swim and paddle on her own..but for awhile...

She can now walk on grass for at least 1-2m but she is still unstable and wobbles side to side when trying to walk...im and truly optimistic about her progress and would love to see our dear pompom walk and regain a normal life like any other dogs...

Btw, Dr Tan was very kind to waive off the vet fee for us today..thus no money was spent..so we havent touched all the donations..but we informed the donors bout it..and we were told to keep the donations for her future use eg. vet review and accupunture...we will try accupunture probably after all her vet reviews...next weekend will be review with dr phua (vet practice) and the week after review with dr tan (mt pleasant)...hope to hear more great news...

i hope the owner be guilty of what he/she had done...they were pompom's world..and because of her disability, they just dump her even after 7-9yrs of having her...dun they worry that she wont make it? dont they treasure the gd 7-9yrs that they had and the dedication that pompom had given to them? when pompom's world shattered the day the owner dump her...we also realised that pompom have gained so much love from pple who had not met her...the owner should b disgrace of him/herself..and nv to have a pet anymore...

did they forgotten that a pet is for life and they are pompom's only love ones n her only world? did they forgotten the gd old times they had when pompom was well? human sometimes are selfish creatures...when something becomes a burden or are of no use, they just dump it coveniently...the least they could do is to find an adopter or if they really have no means, seek help and if worse case be more humane by putting the dog to sleep (not that i encourage it but just feel that this is definately more humane than leaving the dog to fend for herself n suffer in pain n die without pple even realising it)..im seriously pissed..but am glad that pompom has touched many hearts...

i hope that all folks out there to rem that when u decide to get a pet...it is a commitment for life..be a responsible owner to ur pet...love them like u wld love ur own child..when they grow old or get sick...stick by them through their worse time because ur pet had and will always stick by u no matter what happen to u..the only day you and ur pet would part will be the day they leave this world...treasure them because they only have a few yrs on earth...once gone...its too late to regret...

It's always heartwarming to know the dogs which you have rescued & helped find a new home, is doing really well in HIS home and is being loved...you cant imagine i was so happy when i received an email of buddy boy happy pictures from his owner...

I havent had the time to visit him recently and i guess the owner knew that i miss him...so she took some pictures of him and email me with all the updates about buddy..its really the little thoughts that count and this email update of buddy that kept me happy for the day...and also serves as a reminder to keep myself going strong for the other dogs that need help...

Am truly glad to update that our darling Pom Pom is improving..though limbs are still very weak..but we see improvements...from a skinny dog that cant even more its limbs when found..we are pleased to see her progress steadily..she now can move her four limbs though the back limbs are still very weak..

she now does not have the stare at the blanks space look and is starting to move her head, turn & shake her head to look ard...she is now able to use her back leg to scratch her head for awhile..and she know struggles to move and crawl ard..with alot of effort needed...we know she is trying and starting to take her baby steps again..and are indeed happy to see her doing better each and everyday...

i know that miracle do exist and i am very optimistic about her recovery...but it will truly take a long time...as long as there's hope we will try....

We have received kind donations from alot of parties for peepads and milk..right now..we are looking for those kid's alphabet mats or a baby tub...the mat is to provide pompom with a surface which she can crawl and try to walk (as the floor is too slippery for her weak limbs). The tub will be used for water therapy to strengthen her legs...and lastly we are too looking for a loving home or foster for our dear pompom where she will receive ample care while on her road to recovery too..

We had a newpaper report who came to visit pompom at jj home...she did an interview and we were told the article would probably be on the newpaper tmr..the reason we agreed for the interview was in hope to find a true loving home for pompom..she is an adorable girl and definately deserves a gd home..

we brought her to petgamart to swim today...heard swimming might help strengthen her legs...and it did help a little...she was able to stand for a few seconds but fell down after that...no matter wat it is a good improvement and we hope to see her stand up and get moving soon..

On Friday, my frens and all headed to ECP to fish and hang ard...upon rching we saw a pomenarian being wrapped in a plastic bag and was dumped beside like as if it was rubbish beside a dustbin...we all thought the dog was dead...but it was not...it was still alive and breathing...unfortunately the dog was paralysed and could not move at all..it was lying in the plastic bag with a newspaper and her whole fur was covered with her own poo and pee..

why do such owner exist? the owner should just die of terrible death...his/her dog was still alive and just because it was paralyse and could not move at all..he/she just dumped her like a rubbish and hoping to torture and let the poor dog suffer and die slowly..seriously..this is even much worse than PTS..

When we found the dog...we tried to lift it up but it could not walk at all and could only lie on her side..she struggled to get up but couldnt...she was shivering when i touched her...it was cold as the wind was strong..she was weak and her eyes were filled with tears...such terrible sight really hurt me...she was staring at me like as if it was telling me how sad she was...her eyes tell all...we was super thin..and i believed that the fuking owner must have abused it and when she became paralyse they decided to dump her hoping that no one finds out...

we brought her to a friend's place and we fed her wet food..she gobbled down like as if she had been starved for many days..what makes me sad was that she could not moved at all and all day she could only lie on her side and stare at us..it hurts me to see her that way..we brought her to the vet today and vet estimate her to be 7-9yrs old..she is very skinny weighing only a mere 2.8kg...vet told us that she had hurt her nerve and gave her injection and medication and we were adviced to massage her limbs and help her to walk everyday...2 weeks was given to improve her condition...if after 2 weeks and there is no progress..most likely she will be paralyse for life...and that's where there is a decision for us to make..to let it live and only to be lying there everyday without any quality of life...or to let her go to a better place where she will no longer be hurt..i seriously pray for a miracle and hope we will never reach a day which we have to make the tough decision..

we have named her lucky and i do hope she will be lucky..i pray she will recover a lead a quality life...and i pray the dumb owner will have his/her retribution..am hoping for justice to be done..and am appealing for all to pass this story forward and appealing for any witness whom have seen this heartless owner to contact rayne @ 90600810.

Buddy had been up for adoption a few times- not because he is aggressive, not because he is disobedient, and definitely not because he is hard to teach. In fact, he is a very gentle giant who is tame, obedient and takes in very well to dogs and small kids (look at his video and you will realize how tame and patient he is with kids, even small kids). The only thing that is not right would be his fate. He had been rehomed a few times not because the owners want to get rid of him, but because of all the circumstances happening at home which eventually does not allow them to keep Buddy.

Living a life of a roller coaster, having ups and downs, Buddy is still living his life with a smile. After searching for so long, Buddy boy thought he had finally found a forever home with his current owner. But sometimes unfortunate things just happen, as his owner is having some problem with the family and is forced to put buddy up for adoption.

Buddy is a big dog with a big heart. He is a giant but with a heart of gold. He is patient, obedient, tame and loyal. He will just give in his all to love you, and all he is asking for is someone to promise to take care and love him till his very last breath. Look beyond the surface and you will find something so special about him that is worthy for you to have him. Sometimes I feel disgrace for being a human being....really...how could these heartless pple do such things to the dogs? Don't they have any common sense? Don't they have a heart? Don't they know what they are doing is definately not right? And don't they know by doing so, they are indirectly killing the dogs slowly and letting them suffering even more before they die? I hope these pple who did this to the dogs will die of terrible death..karma will befall on them...

Thank goodness for this group of kind folks whom willingly gave in their all to help save the remaining surviving dogs...and thankfully for them, some of the dogs have a new lease of life....my utmost respect for them...keep up the good work...

P.S: Pirate and gerger are doing fine..bought them to M&M for their first swim last week..will update more on the next post with video..Btw, gerger will be shfting to A's home for boarding starting july..i hope everything will turn out well and she will behave will...thank goodness for A's help, at least it helps to lessen the boarding charges...and i know she will take care of gerger well...

I think this is really meaningful. Makes you realise that sometimes you are so busy with your own life that you might have neglected important people in your life whom have always been there for you and giving you support quietly throughout your whole life, without asking for anything in return. Love from your parents is really unselfish..and i do hope such love will exist and be shared with all the animals out there too.

What u plant is what u reap - The story of CEO

A successful business man was growing old and
knew it was time to choose a successor to take over the business.

Instead of choosing one of his Directors or his children,
he decided to do something different. He called all the young
executives in his company together.

He said, 'It is time for me to step down and choose the next CEO.
I have decided to choose one of you. 'The young executives were
shocked, but the boss continued. 'I am going to give each one
of you a SEED today - one very special SEED. I want you to plant
the seed, water it, and come back here one year from today with
what you have grown from the seed I have given you. I will then
judge the plants that you bring, and the one I choose will be
the next CEO.'

One man, named Jim, was there that day and he, like the others,
received a seed. He went home and excitedly, told his wife the
story. She helped him get a pot, soil and compost and he planted
the seed. Everyday, he would water it and watch to see if it had
grown. After about three weeks, some of the other executives began
to talk about their seeds and the plants that were beginning to grow.

Jim kept checking his seed, but nothing ever grew.

Three weeks, four weeks, five weeks went by, still nothing.

By now, others were talking about their plants, but Jim didn't have
a plant and he felt like a failure.

Six months went by -- still nothing in Jim's pot. He just knew he
had killed his seed. Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but
he had nothing. Jim didn't say anything to his colleagues, however..
He just kept watering and fertilizing the soil - He so wanted the
seed to grow.

A year finally went by and all the young executives of the company
brought their plants to the CEO for inspection.

Jim told his wife that he wasn't going to take an empty pot.
But she asked him to be honest about what happened. Jim felt sick
to his stomach, it was going to be the most embarrassing moment
of his life, but he knew his wife was right. He took his empty pot
to the board room. When Jim arrived, he was amazed at the variety
of plants grown by the other executives.. They were beautiful --
in all shapes and sizes. Jim put his empty pot on the floor and
many of his colleagues laughed, a few felt sorry for him!

When the CEO arrived, he surveyed the room and greeted his young
executives.

Jim just tried to hide in the back. 'My, what great plants, trees,
and flowers you have grown,' said the CEO. 'Today one of you will
be appointed the next CEO!'

All of a sudden, the CEO spotted Jim at the back of the room with
his empty pot. He ordered the Financial Director to bring him to
the front. Jim was terrified. He thought, 'The CEO knows I'm a
failure! Maybe he will have me fired!'

When Jim got to the front, the CEO asked him what had happened
to his seed - Jim told him the story.

The CEO asked everyone to sit down except Jim. He looked at Jim,
and then announced to the young executives, 'Behold your next
Chief Executive Officer!

His name is Jim!' Jim couldn't believe it. Jim couldn't even grow
his seed.

'How could he be the new CEO?' the others said.

Then the CEO said, 'One year ago today, I gave everyone in this
room a seed. I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it,
and bring it back to me today. But I gave you all boiled seeds;
they were dead - it was not possible for them to grow.

Growing Up....

Just recently, I noticed that Pirate and Ger Ger has really grown up...recalling the first day I had pirate and gerger.. and compare them to now...indeed they have grown..not only physically..but grown to be more obedient than they used to...

Pirate used to be very rough when playing...he used to be barking like crazy when he sees strangers...he used to love to play bite and used to chew on anything he can get in his mouth..he used to be a delinquent...cant be bothered about hearing my commands, will tug the leash like mad when i bring him out for walk (making me fall down so many times) and totally not scared of me even when i hit him...

3 yrs have passed..and now when i tink about it...i really see the change in him...he no longer play rough (although he still loves to pounce on me when i return home)...he no longer play bitr or bark crazily...he now listens to my command and come to me when i call him to...he doesnt chew on anything now except the toys i give him...he no longer tug the leash and walks patiently & faithfully besides me following every single step i take...he now learns to know when I am not feeling well or in a foul mood..and will behave himself and sits beside me just to accompany me...he still behaves like a puppy sometimes...but i can feel he is growing up..and am glad that i witnessed this journey of him growing up and seeing the every stage of him growing up and blossom into a handsome boy....

When i first had gerger...i dun know any of her background and even got snapped by her when i tried to touch her...she used to be a shy girl and defensive towards us human...she used to bark like mad at anything (refusing to stop even when i scold or beat her)..she used to snap at strangers (probably due to her history)....she used to be scared of every moving objects...and used to pee when we raise our voice at her...she used to be a dog that is not confident at all...

But having spent 2 yrs with me...i have also seen the growth in her...she is now a lovely girl...still barks not stops when i shout at her...still snap at strangers once a while (esp those who she feels threaten about)...but getting better now...she is now a more confident dog and a sweetie pie always following me ard and forcing her head into my arms just for me to stroke her...she has grown to be a dog that is just contented with hanging out with me doing nothing but just me stroking her head...

I am really glad to have them in my life..to see them transform from delinquents to better behaved dogs (not perfect dogs, but nevermind..I am just contented with them being the way they are now)...am thankful to be given this chance to exprience all the ups and downs with them..am most thankful that I had the chance to grow up together with them...they have been part of my life and we will continue to grow old together....

Yes I am back from genting..it was a tiring trip..only slept for 5 hours for the entire 2D 2N trip...took me 2 days to recover...it was tiring but fun...most of the time was spent in the casino..obviously i lost :( and to make it even worse..i had the world's smallest mary brown's chicken breast for breakfast..just take a look at the picture below...nonetheless it was a gd bonding trip and a breather for me away from my hectic work and dog..not that i find my dogs a nusciance...but i just needed a break...

Pirate was whiny when i went for the trip and when i returned...he was soo happy to see me that he kept pouncing on me like a mad dog...i was tired then but i super love that..to see him soo happy to see me :)

Still recovering from the genting-post-symdrome...i hope i will recover soon...

Oh btw, I have finally receive the HDB appointment letter to choose my flat...though only 21 flats left..i hope we can at least have 5th flr and above..keeping my fingers crossed....cant wait for 19 March...

Havent been updating much on my dogs...both Pirate and gerger are doing well...have been visting gerger 2-3x a week...will be going to genting with my colleagues tonight and will be back on sunday...this will be the first time I am away from pirate since I adopted him...kinda feel wierd and worried..hopefully the bf can take care care of my darling boy while i go for this long awaited break..I havent gone for a holiday (with or without my bf) every since i adopted pirate...the thought of going for holida..even though is a short one, makes me worry if he will be well taken care of..will definately miss my big boy while i go for this 2D 1N trip...i hope he will do fine...and definately i will try to enjoy myself and not worry too much about him too...

Lost Beige dog seems to be either missing or being abandoned by owner since 12th Feb 09 as it has been howling, crying and running around to look for its owner at Blk 163A or 163B punggol central roof garden which is so heartening when i hear its howling n crying for this consecutive 2 nights. Reali hope the poor dog can find its owner soon as an aunty who happens to come down to the roof garden today like me to give food and water to the dog said tt some1 called e police today and 3 policemen came to capture this dog but luckily the dog is clever enough to run away. Pls spread this around as i reali hope the owner can find his/her dog soon but provided the dog is not being purposely abandoned by the owner if not the owner is reali so cruel...

Urgent, please help... I was at the park with my golden when I saw the dog catchers sent by AVA.They managed to catch the poor dog n locked him in a cage.
Some stupid neighbours around that area was actually cheering when they saw the whole process.The AVA personnel told me that if nobody call within two days to collect the dog,it will be put to sleep.I cant do anything at that moment because they have to send the poor dog to AVA 1st.
I can actually see the sad eyes from the poor dog, he was so scared till he poo on the spot.
I am going to call AVA tomorrow to enquire whether I can temporary keep the dog at a boarding place. I need all dog lovers to help this dog find a good home. Any suggestion please let me know asap.

Nope as yet but there are needs:

1. Some people will be calling AVA to try to bail the dog out
leave it to them to work this out

2. Desperate need: some one to adopt the dog officially even for a few months.
Must be landed property and have less than 3 dogs.

3. $ to bail dog, to pay for permanent home for dog

4 A place to put the dog permanently.

Her Bao Bao is still missing and believed to be still in Botanical Gardens...anyone who will be there, please help to keep a lookout for her...she has been missing for a week plus...

Colour: Black with white chest and 4 white paws.

Size: Medium size, weights abt 17kg.

Her fren's boss will be relocating and will be giving away 2 JRTs (Male, 5 yrs old & female, 6 yrs old)

Female is sterilised, not sure about male. Both need not be adopted together. Lookign for sincere and genuine adopter/foster.

Date is given till this week, if not owner will send to SPCA.

Note: I do not have more information of the dogs, but am gathering more information and pictures of the dogs. Interested parties pls call roy @ 96163575.

Pirate's recovery...

Pirate is recovering well...at least better than i expected...his paws doesnt hurt as much as it was on the first day...and now he has got the strength to tug the leash :)

Managed to cut of some of the "dead" paw pads which were dangling from his paw..and has been diligently washing and cleaning his paws and ensuring that he doesn't bite or move ard too much...all effort has paid off..and i am thankful that he is feeling better now..at least i dun feel too upset now...

Hoping he will fully recover soon..and play with gerger when she come back hom on one of the days next week...

Injuried Pirate...

Yes pirate got hurt..and this time again, someone forgotten to close the gate and once again he escaped out of the house..lucky thing is he didnt hurt any dogs/human he saw...he is generally fine with human..just tat sometimes pple tend to be afraid when they see such a big dog...but thank goodness no one was hurt except for Pirate himself...

I went home and saw that all his 4 paws were hurt...his paw pads were hurt due to abrasion..but i must say the abrasion were pretty bad..cause 2 of his paw pad were cut and seem to be dropping off partially..u cant imagine the pain when i saw him like tat...thanks goodness bf helped to wash his wound and apply antiseptic cream on his paws while i was still at work..

As you know pirate is an outdoor trained dog and will only do his pee & poo outside..yesterday i tried to bring him for his pee & poo break..and i realised he got big problem walking..each step he took seems to be in such pain..he was practically limping all the way...i really think his paws hurt alot..the sight of him in pain really hurt me...i tried to carry him to the grass but didnt have such strength to carry a dog weighing 30kg all the way..he took a short pee & poo break and went back home straight..cause i can tell he don't want to walk much due to the pain on his paws..he didnt even poo..my poor boy..

Pirate is still eating and drinking well...still wana play but cant due to his paws...i tried to bandage his 4 paws before taking him for a walk so that his injuried paws will not be exposed to the dirt and bacteria...i tried to apply cream on his paws and he whined alittle when i touched it..it must have hurt so much...

Now i have to put him in a play pen to minimize his movement in hope that his injuried paws will have recover faster...my darling boy looks sad but he seemed to know that the cleaning his wound, applying cream and bandaging his paws i did was all for his good and he finally allowed to me clean him up w/o struggling...

This morning i woke up an hr earlier than usual, as i know i have to give him more time for his pee & poo break, and I need more time to clean his wound and wrap them up..i brought him for his break but he seems to be still in pain..he peed but didnt poo..went back home to clean his wound and bandage them and put him back to his playpen and went to work..

It's tiring to take care of an injuried dog...but he is my dog..no matter how tough it is..i will do my best to make him recover fast..CNY is approaching and now this has to happen..i tink i will be spending alot of my time taking care of my dear boy this CNY..if the folks can make the effort to be more careful..then this wont have happened...this is not the first time he ran out already..i know sometimes the older folks tend to be more forgetful and i cant blame them too...but i hope they can be more careful in future..cause who knows what will happen to him if he run out again...

P.S: Now i am contemplating whether to bring gerger back on CNY..cause if i bring her back..pirate will not be able to play with her cause i wil be limiting his movement..and then pirate and gerger will be seperated which then defeat the purpose ofme bringing gerger back...but then again if i dun bring her back home...it kinda makes me feel guilty...tell me what shld i do? haiz..

I happily went to sort out the photos which I uploaded on Photobucket and sort them into different albums and ended up with all the photos which I put on the blog to be missing, because all the links have been changed...So do pardon me if you happen to see some blogs with missing images...

Anyway 5 more days to CNY..i can't wait...have done my shopping...few more items to get and I'm done...I hope these 3 days pass faster..can't wait to try my hand on blackjack, texas poker, bingo etc...I kinda love to gamble...but am not an addict...I hope Year 2009 will be better Year than 2008 :)

Chinese New Year is coming...

Chinese New Year is arriving and I have yet to buy any of my Chinese New Year clothes...It's time to spend my weekends shopping ard (I really hate shopping & if given a choice I would rather not shop. I only shop once every year - That's before Chinese New Year to buy my clothes. That's all!)

I have decided that I will bring gerger back on one of the days in Chinese New Year and let her spend one night with me & pirate :) It will probably be 1st Day of Chinese New Year.. And I seriously can;t wait for that day to come...to spend time with my 2 darlings...to gamble...to have fun...to play & drink..to enjoy...Cause after Chinese New Year, we only have May to look forward to for our next Public Holiday....

They have been shifted to a new boarding kennel and are being boarded there at $300 monthly. Esther has been visiting them and also paying for their boarding. Under her care, they both have blossomed into lovely & sweet dogs..

Mary is getting fatter & Esther is working to get Cherry to be less afraid of strangers. They both get to visit PMDR on the weekends and they are still looking for a lovely home and a family to love them...

Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these words:

Dear God,

Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very much. I am happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick.

I hope you will play with her. She likes to play with balls and to swim. I am sending a picture of her so when you see her You will know that she is my dog. I really miss her.

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it. Then Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven. That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office. A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet. I told her that I thought He had.

Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed, 'To Meredith' in an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it. Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, 'When a Pet Dies.' Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God in its opened envelope. On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:

Pirate the spoilt brat...

Sometimes I think I pamper my dogs too much....so much that it eventually turns them into a spoilt brat....argghhhh...it's sometimes so frustrating especially when pirate the sturbborn brat decides that he had enough of eating dry food that he decides that he will go on hungry strike for a few days....

It just so happen that his kibbles run out that day and the new bag of kibbles will only arrive the next day..so that very day i fed him so HCF...he gobble down everything as soon as i lay his bowl on the floor..and then the next day when his kibbles arrived, he decided to go on hungry strike and refuse to eat his kibbles...he would bite it and then spit everything out of his mouth and then give me that "YUCKS! The kibble taste so awful...I won't eat it..and i shall wait till you give me my HCF" look..and then starts his hungry strike..yesterday was the 3rd day of his hngry strike and he refuse to touch the kibbles...sometime mongrels can be damn stubborn..esp this spoilt brat of mine...

Usually i will give in to him and give him the HCF which he has been fighting for...but this time round..enough is enough..i shall let him continue his hunger strike till he surrender and finish each and every kibbles that i give him...

Last time when ger ger is ard..he wld gobble down his food fast as he is a selfish dog and wont want to let gerger eat his leftover even when he is already full...gerger on the other hand is never a fussy eater...she eats whatever i give her and is contented to have food to eat..that is one thing i love about her...now gerger is at boarding..our prince pirate is starting his bad habits again..since gerger is not ard to steal his food....he better give in soon and start eating his kibbles..this time round i swear i will not lose this battle :S

Visited gerger yesterday..have been visiting her 2-3times a week since she started boarding...she is doing great as usual...my beautiful ger is gaining back the weight she lost and much happier already..though she still whines when i leave (understandable)...i really enjoy the every visit to see her and treasure the time we spent together..she is a darling...and i hope time flies fast..and i get my flat so that my darling ger can reunite and live with us again :)

Got our flat ballot number... unlucky number 00229 out of 164 units..sooo we have to wait to get the leftover unchoosen flats..hopefully there are leftover flats for us to choose from...

I called the HDB hotline and keyed in bf's NRIC number...and then it announced "Your ballot number is 0-0-2-2-9" When i first heard 0-0.. i thought "WOW! my ballot number must be good!" because i tot there should be 4-digits because about 1700 pple balloted in all...so when i heard 0-0, i tot my number should be lesser than hundred..then after 0-0, i heard 2....2...In my mind i was thinking "Rayne Gan, you are soooooooo damn lucky to get ballot number 22..which means i have the privilege to choose among the 164 units" BUT I WAS SO WRONG..after the 0-0-2-2..came another number 9..and i froze and was so pissed....ahhh i got 00229..why cant they just keep it to 4 digits..and why must the IVR announce the numbers so slowly...they made me happy for that split second and then my hope shattered upon hearding that number 9..arrrgggghhh..

So now i have to pray and pray that there will be leftover flats for me to choose from..would prefer units that are 5th floor and above...though chances are not high...but i am still hoping...soo by end Janaury...i wll know my fate...if i receive the invitation from HDB to select...i will be damn freaking happy....

Got a sms from Jingjing - the rescuer of mary & cherry. She mentioned that she was told by one of the auntie that a neighbour had made complain to AVA about the place where mary & cherry are boarding is very dirty and smelly and the neighbour is going to get AVA to get them...

The siblings are residing at a old private house which was rented by an auntie who house her rescued cats there...in order to keep the siblings there, jingjing has been forking out money to board the 2 siblings there all these while..though the 2 siblings are staying in the yard full of weeds (but of course with shelter)..but that is also the place that the siblings are contented to live in (despite the environment), a place that gave them assurance and safety. Jingjing and partner always make the effort to go and visit the siblings during the weekend, to clean up the area and bathe the 2 siblings..i tink this is the best they can do out of the busy schedule..

Usually on weekdays, the auntie who rent the unit will feed the siblings at night (because she herself has her own daytime job and she is not staying there, but just renting the place to house her rescue cats)..however i tink she does not have the time to clean up the place and all the pee n poo from the siblings, thus leading to the place being very smelly and resulting in neighbour's complain..

Now, with the neighbour threats the siblings' lives are in danger..firstly they are not licensed..secondly there is no one stayin at the plce, only with nightly visit by the auntie to feed them n her cats, so AVA can cum catch them anytime without our knowledge..lastly the neighbour is serious about getting AVA and we need to vacate them soon, but with our limited budget, we are unable to find a suitable place to house the siblings..

Have tried rehoming them but to no avail. Now, we are seeking for help to foster, adopter or suggestion of cheap alternative boarding to house the 2 lovely siblings...before AVA comes and get them..just when the siblings are settling down at the place they call home, things like this have to happen...

These 2 siblings are really very sweet gers...good with animals, good with human and kids too..they are such lovely gers and definately sweet in tempermant...they have come a long way from being found thin to their bones and now they have made tremendous improvement and gained weight through the care of jingjing..just when things seemed to have improved, bad things have to happen..

Now, we sincerely seek for genuine folks to help in anyway to can for these 2 siblings that have gone through so much in their lives..they really deserves to be loved...

Day 12 - 22 without you by my side...

Was busy & lazy the whole of last week to blog...visited gerger last thursday and yesterday...wanted to bring her back but didn't..in fact i brought her to a nearby multi-storey carpark and unleashed her to run..the top floor of the multi-story carpark was open air and no cars...gerger sprint here and there exploring and looking ard...me too ran with her and then brought her to walk ard the teban gardens estate....it was fun just 2 of us hanging out :)

We spent 1.5hrs walking ard and playing at the multi storey carpark (that will be our new secret hangout place)...Gerger has more of less settled down...eating and putting back the weight she first lost when she started boarding...she's becuming the fat gerger i used to know...she gets along very well with the petshop dogs now and even the staff at noo age (that's very rare..she will usually growl at strangers)..can see that she's getting better when meeting new strangers..there was once she jumped onto a customers leg and insist that he sayang her :S

My dear ger has really grown and starting to learn things the right way...she has learnt that not everyone are the bad pple she met before i found her...she has learnt to treat pple & dogs better since they mean no harm to her...she has learnt to stick close to my side (even without leash. but i dun usually off leash her even though i know she wont run away and will stick close to me, cause she is not really a small dog and usually pple tend to be more afraid and esp since she is black & tan..which makes pple think that she is fierce :S )

But she is really gd at recalling...once she hear me calling her name or making those erhmp noise..she will recall and walk beside me...even when she walk in front of me..she dare not leave me more than 2 metre away and will constantly turn back to make sure i am ard...who says mongrels are not easy to train? See my ger has improved and learnt so much with the care from the right pple...

However, just one thing she hasnt really learnt yet...she still whines loudly and scratch the window very frantically whenever i leave the puppy room..she will go mad..i tink that's seperation anxiety..but i know she will overcome it soon...now she whines lesser and stops scratching once the noo age folks told her no...am pretty surprised that she listens to them :)

Back at home..brought pirate for a jog in the evening...one thing good about him is that he is able to jog at ur pace and follow you..but he gets distracted easily and behaves very unfriendly to other dogs..even those that didn't even provoke him...so usually i will try to bring him on a long walk along the canal or jog during times when there's not much pple (very late at night)...but i am sure he enjoyed yesterday's jog..coz he was sleeping so soundly yesterday night with a smile :)

I still miss the sight of gerger at home..and hope the day i get my flat will come soon...

P.S: took a short clip of gerger running and exploring the multi-storey carpark on my mobile phone..will go figure out how to transfer it into my laptop, so that i can upload it here....

Day 9,10 & 11 without you by my side...

Went to visit you yesterday..i tink you could sense i was there...you were sleeping in the puppy room and the moment i walked near the room you woke up and your big round eyes were staring into me :) As usual you jumped up & down and it seems like you can tear down the dog anytime hehe...

you seemed to have grown slimmer since you stayed there? are you still not adjusting well? you used to be plump & chubby but now you are slimmer? I was abit concerned and checked with uncle soon if she has been eating her food? Uncle Soon says that she does but to me she seems to have no interest in her food...she was nv a fussy eater and would always jump at the sight of food..even when its dry kibbles she would eat it down in less than 15 mins and usually after that she would eat up pirate's share of food if pirate had eaten enough..but seems to me now that she is not interested in her food at all..she took a bite of her food and walked away...and refuse to touch it even when i fed her...something is wrong..is she still homesick? does she not like the new dry food? or is she not feeling well? her appetite for food now is total 180 degrees change from last time..im getting increasingly worried..

Uncle soon told me usually she will eat finish her food and eats it fast..if she doesnt finish her food, uncle soon would leave it in her sleeping area for her to..i told him to monitor..if she continues to be not eating, i would have to bring her to the vet...but she is still the full of energy, bubbly gerger that i noe..

we brought her for a walk and uncle soon told me now in the daytime he will let gerger out and roam ard the petshop with their 2 in-house dogs..he says she doesnt bite the stuff nor disturb the dogs..overall she is behaving better than before...

Soon it was time to leave..you sensed it didnt u? you block the door and refuse to let us leave..and started to whine & jump crazily when we left the main door of the shop...gerger ah...you should be coping better..you have been there for a week n a half but seems like you are still not adjusting well..i hope you can adjust well soon and dun make me feel sad everytime i leave...and i hope you be happy too my darling...be the happy ger i know....eat more k..i love the chubby old you :)

Recently have seen too much dogs up for adoption..esp mongrels...my favourite dog... :(

If your family or yourself is ready for a dog or planning on getting another dog...do give these sweet mongrels a chance to exprience love again..though they are not purebreed but they are unique in their own way :)

I myself have 2 mongrels of my own and they make excellent companion...most importantly they made me learn to appreciate that things / pple / even pets shld not be judged by appearances..cause appearances don't last...give ur chance & themselves chance to learn & grow together...and you will grow to appreicate them beyond appearances...

what i really love about mongrels are that they each have unique character of their own and very special in their own way...most importantly they are very loyal dogs that would always place their owner's interest more important then theirs...and believe me - they go all out to protect you...be by your side when you are down..no matter what happens....

Was busy with gerger thus didnt have the time to visit buddy & bobby...but rest assure that both of them are doing great...happy doggies and being loved by their families in the home that they call their own...i will definately find time soon to visit these 2 lovely boys..

Visited you yesterday and today...brought you back today in the afternoon..the moment you reached home..you rushed towards your brother pirate..with your waggy tail..but seems like u cant recognise him...you growled at him so many times..but your brother pirate was very happy to see you..he wanted to play and sniff you but u rejected him...he was soooo sad that he kept whinning and stay by your side and using his paw to touch you...but u still growled at him...my naughty girl..only 1 week and you forgot about him?

I left you two to play for 3-4hrs..then bathe and fed you..soon it was time to send you back to noo age..i expected you to be reluctant to leave but you were wagging your tail and happily hopped onto the car..but your brother pirate wasnt taking it too well and he winning and cried non stop till we left....

you are coping much better now at noo age..although you whined and scratched the window when we left...but it took you a shorter time now to calm down..i felt relieved...i hope you had a good day today coming back home and hanging out with me n ur brother pirate :) i will see you soon probably on wednesday..in the meantime you be a gd girl k...love you..n missing you still..

tmr i will be going to jingjing's wedding in the afternoon, will visit you after the wedding..i promise you...am planning to bring you back home to reunite with your brother on sunday afternoon and play for a few hours and then send you back to noo age before they close for the day..not sure if it will make u miss home even more after that? or would it make u feel better despite such short visit back home? am still deciding...just dun wish to make u feel even worse after the visit back home..that's all...

Had so much to do at work today...i thought with so much work i wont be thinking of you much..but i still miss u..rushed down after work to visit you today..you saw me from the window...you were so happy..with your lovely eyes staring at me and your tail waggin vigourously...i was happy to see you too :)

The moment i stepped into the puppy room..you were jumping up and down and trying to lick me non-stop...i brought you down for a short walk...it seems like you were showing me ard the area..looks like u are starting to settle in already...after the walk..you led me back to the shop...uncle soon told me you have started to eat these few days..thank goodness ur hunger strike is over..so is ur brother starting to eat too...i feel so relieved...you seems to be much better with other dogs and human too..you have blossom into a sweet and much better ger within these few days..im glad to see you grow..staff at noo age understand y you growled at them intially..because you were afraid..they were patient and understand that you need time to warm up to them..and indeed you did..you even lay on the floor and let them rub you belly..you did fine too hanging out with the dogs at the shop.i really see you improving...

soon it was time for us to leave....you whined and started to scratch the gate frantically..i expected that to happen...but once we left noo age..u started to calm down..so happy that you are doing better than the last few days..keep up the good work gal..i will see you over the weekends..will be bz with work tmr..but i will keep you in my thoughts still..am still missing you as much as day 1..but feeling much better..you too ger..am so proud you are behaving and starting to adapt..even so i still wished you will be by my side everyday..your brother misses you too but he is getting better everyday..we love you my dear ger....

Didnt visit gerger today..i wonder if she is feeling better today than yesterday? Had the urge to go visit her..but it pains me to see her whinning n yelping after i leave..thus didnt wana affect her..i hope that she will adjust better today w/o seeing me...

I hope you have taken your dinner today..you didnt eat yesterday and got me worried..your brother - pirate oso refuse his food today..am getting increasingly worried for both you n pirate..i hope both of you will get over it soon and start eating..if not how can i be at eased?

Visited gerger straight after work..when i reached noo age..she was in the puppy room and when she saw me..she was wagging her tail so vigourously and soo happy to see me...and so was i too..the moment i went into the puppy room..she jumped on me and licked my face non-stop...she was whinning throughout as if telling me she wana go back home :(

I brought her down for a walk and uncle soon told me she didnt eat her food...i was kinda worried coz she is a glutton and nv a fussy eater and would eat anything..but today..she wasnt eating...haizz..i tink she is not happy about me leaving her there and sorta missed home..uncle soon and myself tried to coax her to eat but she refused to...uncle soon took some of his own treats and fed her and even tried to spoon feed her..she ate abit and then left the food untouched again..i really hope she will settle down soon n start eating again..really sad to see her like tat...

but surprisingly..she let uncle soon touched her..sayang her n she even licked him...was glad that at least she trust him :) but she growled at the groomer and others when they wanted to pat her...i tink needa give her sometime to build the trust...she will eventually..i hope...she just need more time..

i spent an hr and half there just stroking her...when i was about to leave...gerger started whinning, crying and frantically scratching the door again...once again i felt as if my heart as been stabbed...it really hurts me alot to see her like let...but i had to leave noo age soon becoz i dun wan her to be too attached me..i hope for her to learn to be independent and be aware that i am definately not abandoning her...moreover..that will be her temporary home for the next yr or so..so i really wish and hope she will adjust well..really wana thank uncle soon for taking care of gerger and enabling me to trust him to take good care of gerger...

my dear ger should be sleeping by now..i hope..hope she has a good night sleep without missing me as much as i miss her..my lovely gal..do be a good gal and eat well..be happy..coz that's all that i hope for her now..i will be contented...really...

Pirate hasnt been eating much today too..when i got home..i spent an hour coaxing him to eat..i tink he kinda realise gerger is not with him to play and steal his food..i have a feeling he is starting to miss his irritating little sis...

i hope the weekdays pass by quickly and i can bring gerger home on sat..to let the 2 good pals meet up and play and rekindle to good old memories that they had...i hope it will make gerger at eased and resume her happy self again :)

Today was a tough day, both for myself & gerger..i decided to let her board at noo age for 2 weeks trial and afterwhich decide from there...

Time seems to fly pass quickly..it was time for me to bring her to noo age..we reached there ard 4pm...on the car ride she was whining non-stop...pretty unusual for her and she sticked very closely to me...i tink she sensed where she was going...

Upon reaching noo age...she was abit scared..but settled in ok and was greeted by noo age owner's 2 dog..she was wagging her tail n exploring the place...i thought to myself...phew...seems like she will be fine n cope well..

i borught along all her belongings...dog food, her bowl, my t-shirt, her towel, her toys and her favourite milk bone and left all the belongings into her sleep area (which there is a gate to close up at night when the shop closes)..the uncle (owner of noo age) assured me she would be fine...we slowly led her to her sleeping area and closed the gate..she started whinning and seems to me like she was crying...she was frantically scratching the gate...my heart sank and was totally heartbroken when i saw her whinning and scratching the gate..i tried to hold back my tears but it tears just rolled down my cheeks...it was hard to see her so sad..i started to sobbed abit (trying my best to hide my face from the owner of noo age and my bf)..i stroke her head and assured her that im not abandoning her there..it would be temporary..really...i will definately bring her back with my when i have a place of my own...

suddenly the trees are no longer green and the sky seems to be gloomy to me..nothing seems to pleased me anymore..i just wish to have her by my side..i left noo age and took one last glimpse at gerger..she was whinning still..it took me alot of courage to leave noo age..but with tears in my eyes...i hate myself for having to let her suffer...she hasnt left my side these 1.5yrs since i found her and brought her back home..tonight will be the first night she is not by my side...

i went home feeling devasted..upon reaching home i saw pirate..but there was no gerger jumping at the gate to greet me..no more gerger's belonging at home...no more gerger to sit by my side and begging me to stroke her..she never have enough of me storking her..once i stop stroking her..she will poke her nose on my hand to ask me to not stop stroking her...i really miss her...i really hope she is coping fine...pirate seems to be coping better than me..life seems to be normal for him..does he realised his little sis n playmate will not be with as for the time being? Thankfully he is not too much affected..but once in awhile he will look ard as if to find his little sis - gerger...

At ard 7pm..i just couldn't take it and phoned noo age..the uncle told me he brought her for her walk and she has stopped whinning..at least a relived for me that gerger should be ok by now..it will probably take her a few more days to get over and she will be her bubbly self again..but for me..it will take a long time...i planned to visit her after work tomorrow..and i really cant wait for time to fly pass now...it's be an emotional ride for me..but i noe it's even tougher for gerger..i had to acted like im fine with my frens..it really hard..

i planned to bring her back during the weekend to play wiht pirate..at least that assured her that i am not abandoning her...i hope she knows its a tough deision for me..and i hope she knows i am doing it out of no choice..i hope she is sleeping soundly now..i miss u my darling ger..will see you tmr...

Though the thought of sending gerger away hurts alot..but i know this will be temporary and eventually she will come home with me when i have my own place...have been busy sourcing boarding...have shortlisted 2 now...1 is a home boarder at CCK and another is a petshop at west side...all are located near enough for me to visit...will be going down on thursday evening to racky the 2 shortlisted boarders....hopefully will be able to find a suitable one and if found..gerger will be board there starting this weekend...

I am actually very strict when choosing boarder (i prefer home boarding rather than kennel boarding as kennel boarding can really be very stressful for dogs esp since they are always in the kennels)and even stricter now since ger ger will be board there long term..i would rather scrimp and save, to fork out more money (not that I am rich) to ensure that my dogs are well taken care of, treated well and most importantly find a sutiable boarder that is able to handle my dog well and be patient (because my dogs are not the best or obedient dogs in the world)..

Am starting both pirate and gerger on bach flower remedies..to prepare them (coz both of them are quite close)..esp since they will be apart...pirate will continue to stay with us (i hope he behaves himself, if not he will have to end up staying with gerger at the boarding)...actually i am more worried for gerger..i hope she wont be affected by the move and will cope fine - she is quite attached to me :( But i know she will be well taken care of during her stay and i will definately vist her often..

Just when i tot my whole world has fallen apart because of this incident...its then i realised my situation is not that bad afterall...at least gerger is lucky enough to have a place to board and be taken care of..unlike strays on the streets whose plight is even worse :(. When I saw the post..i tot to myself..dun be sad...my situation is really not the worst...stay strong because there are more out there that are facing even tougher situations...

Looking for pple to share and rent a row of kennels...

After searching and checking with the boarding places that I know..am still unable to find boarding to take in my 2 darlings....

Today, Jing mentioned that there is a row of kennel for rent (total of 18 kennels). We are thinking of renting the kennels but we do not need so many kennel for our dogs. Thus, we are looking for pple out there who are thinking of boarding their dogs to share the cost...

At least at the kennel, I know i can visit them as and when i like and take care of them to ensure that they are fine and well taken care of...all i am asking is for them to be healthy and happy...i know staying at the kennel is nothing compared to home..but now that they are being chased out and not given any other choices..i only hope to give them the best i can at any cost within my means....

I really hope pirate and gerger understand what im goin through now and knows that everything i do i put them in mind...

What I feared most came true....

Was given final warning to get gerger out of the house...the pressure and all is just driving me crazy..please tell me how do you have the heart to let your dog go after spending close to 2 yrs together? Part of me died when I was told to get ger ger out of the house....Was devasted when i heard the news...somemore i was sick at that point of time...making it worse...

Gerger is very attached to me...putting her at the boarding kennel would only mean i can see her over the weekends...how is she able to cope it? I cant imagine the sight of her all lonely in the kennel throughout the weekdays..its will be really a sad sight...

Since they are so unwelcome..i have made the decision to put both pirate n gerger at the boarding kennel..pirate and gerger are very attached to each other..i cant bear to seperate them too...at least they will have each other's company at the kennel so that they wont feel lonely...it's gona be tough on my wallet...but this is the best i can do..i will nv give them away no matter wat happens..and i cant bear to give them away too...no one will be able to understand how important they are to me...no matter how tough the road ahead will be..i am standing firm to keeping them..

I hope they understand that I am not abandoning them at the kennel..i am doing all these for their good..just bear with it for a yr and half..once we get a new flat...you 2 my darlings will be able to stay with me..giving others no chance to kick u out of the house ever again..

1 yr will be over very soon..i promise to visit u my darlings over the weekends...

P.S: If anyone could recommend a reliable home boarder whom i can entrust my get ger with...preferably at the west..would be great..kindly help ask around.. Thanks!

Bad things always happen...

Precaution has been taken to ensure that Pirate & GerGer will not run out of the house or out of their enclosed area..but things just dun always turn out the way you wanted...

GerGer run out of her enclosed area when someone open the gate to her area accidently and let her slip out. Gerger then dashed out to find her biggest enemy - the sister within her sight. She then ran up to her and bit her....haiz..thankfully the bite was not too serious but still someone was bitten..i really cannot imagine what's the outcome of GerGer's fate, now that she has bitten somone...

I dreaded to go back...to face the music and most likely words of sending her away will come out from the parents' mouth..In no mood to work now..i just hope today can get over quickly and both pirate's and gerger's fate will remain well...

And i pray that no such accidents will happen ever again...

I had a splendid time yesterday...Went to visit bobby and together with his owners we went to Pasir Ris Petsmover dogrun....Naughty bobby was in the mood to hump all the dogs he met there and his poor owner had to keep an eye on him in case he hurt other dogs while he decided to hump them...

Can tell that they really do love bobby alot and bobby is happy being with them too :) It took him a few seconds to remember me when i went to pick them up yesterday...i called his name..he stood there looking surprised...stared at me..and then realised that I am calling him and then run happily torwards me and jumping and scratching me to show his joy :) Really miss him alot..but I am glad he's happy now...

His owners even went to Petsmover to buy him a nice and comfy bed and alot of treats...bobby boy is really being loved....

After my brief & very enjoyable 2 hr outing with bobby n his owners..i head on down to visit buddy...he's doing great too....heard he's really good with their small kids and gentle too...their kids enjoy playing with him too and they are not afraid of him despite his BIG size...he's just a gentle giant...a big baby :)...his owner has nothing but good praises for Buddy..HAPPY!

I feel so blessed to see both my rehomed dogs being in such lovely home...being loved by their owners and most importantly from the looks in Bobby's & Buddy's face...Im very sure they are very contented with the life they are living now :) And most importantly I can confirm that they are very loyal too...because despite me not visting them that frequently...they still rem me...they still shower me with licks and vigourous tail wags...the happiness of seeing them so happy is really irreplacable....

Lucky has been found...

After 2 days of early morning till midnight searches..we finally found lucky...we actually caught him twice but let him slip off..he is really traumatized and really good at struggling away...the final time AY's fren managed to get hold of him and this time...he is finally safe....

Lucky used to be a temple dog at Ang Mo Kio since he was a puppy...suddenly temple just say they dun wan him and one day after AY left the temple after feeding lucky...i tink they got someone to send lucky far far away...but temple pple assured AY that they wont abandoned him..human's life can be really evil...they didnt preach what they say and lucky was found abandoned at pasir ris..he was so helpless and was hanging out at the interchange which is such a crowded place...SPCA actually went down to get him but failed too..phew..we only managed to noe that lucky was at pasir ris when someone staying there post a FOUND notice on doggiesite..

Thanks goodness for the post. If not we won't have know lucky was there and we might have just believed the temple pple that lucky was really at a gd place....bunch of sick pple...really..

well..now lucky is at a boarding place...still traumatized..but im sure he will get over it soon and knows he is really safe now..lucky boy...u are really a lucky boy to have met AY :)

Lucky is a young chap..only about 1 yr plus....very beautiful red/brown & black long coat..he is abit wary of pple after all that he had gone through..give him some time and he will be a happy & start to trsut you again....

"Lucky had gone missing on Saturday...

Been looking for him at 8pm plus but can't find him...was told by a lady that he was sent away...brought back by the person who brought him there...It's so sudden cos it happened immediately after I left the temple.
The temple having a big celebration so I can't find out much at this point of time.

Had checked with AVA and SPCA that he's not there. Phew!

If really there's this person who brought him back, then is good but Im not sure how true...Hope they have not sent him away to farms or far far away to join the strays...He actually have a potential adopter but is sad that this pple can't wait cos they said he try to snap lately...

Kindly inform me if anyone spotted him while feeding the strays or in the farms, factories...I am very sad and worried for him Thanks in advance.

I spent the afternoon in the neighbourhood talking to people who loves him and frequent the temple. All told me the same thing, that Lucky was brought back by the uncle who brought him there. He's brought there cos that time the temple's dog Ah Boy was lost and they cannot find him...Only lately his temperment change...They worried that he might snap at children and get culled cos the celebration will last till Friday.

They assured me he's in safe hands and back to his 'family'. Not 'released' to anywhere. I will try to get the contact and see if I can 'visit' him after the celebration. Now they dun have time to entertain me and will find me irritating...

Then someone spotted him at Pasir Ris interchange

"Saw this male dog around Pasir Ris Interchange.

Heard it's a stray (not sure how true it is) & used to have a feeder but he disappeared suddenly. Now the dog has been roaming around that area for the past week or so, as mentioned by some of the stall people & bus drivers.

The dog has a collar on & has a fantastic temperament, albeit wary of strangers. He knows the command "shake hand".

It ran away the moment SPCA came. I tried searching for it but to no avail but I'm pretty sure he will appear at that area again.

Will anyone be keen in fostering or adopting him?

As of date Bobby has been at his new home for 5 days...During the owner's off day, she walked bobby to east coast park to enjoy the breeze..I am sure they had a great time :)

M says that he is coping well. Being a very happy boy both M & D adores him...am really glad to hear that...

Here's one of the message from her:
" Hello! yes, it was a long way, but he managed it better than i did. Bobby was eating straight away and has already claimed our new rug as his own. He's sleeping on it now. All is well. Hope you are ok and maybe see you soon x "

Though I have a very strong urge to go visit him, but i try to hold back. Because I really want Bobby to really settle in well at his new home before I visit him..so probably I will visit him in Oct...cant wait to see him :)

Bobby's Day...

Yesterday was the day bobby went to his new home...however before we could send him to his new home in the evening, he decided to give us a memorable scare of our lives in the afternoon.

Received a phone call from foster in the afternoon that he ran out of the house..and the more the foster call for him the further he runs...he almost landed up on the expressway...i quickly wanted to drive to the foster hm but luckily foster managed to get hold of him while he was busy doing his poo-ing...phew...he really scared the hell out of me n foster..somemore it was just a few hours more before i send him to his new home...seems like he knows that he is going to a new home and decided to play a trick on us...

Luckily foster managed to get hold of him after a few minutes of stalking him and jumping to catch him while he was clearing his bowels....phew a sign of relief....

Later in the evening, I brought him to his new owners' place and as expected he was quite nervous and wary since its yet another new environment for him..I do hope he will adapt quickly to his new owners and home and live happily :)

Initally, i told the new owners M & D no adoption fees required as all I asked for is for them to love him unconditionally and take gd care of him..however yesterday when i brought him over..they insist on giving me a box of chocolates and an amt of money as adoption fees..I am really touched by their kind gesture...

I decided to stay at their place for a short while and left, wanting to give them more time to bond..i saw from bobby's eyes that he felt sad that i was leaving..i tried to hold back my tears and forced myself to leave as quickly as possible and not even turning back to see bobby...it was tough but everything i done was for his own gd..I hope he will do fine and will visit him in probably a few weeks time..as I want to give him time to settle down and just make sure everything is fine..

As of yesterday, bobby has offically became someone's dog. No longer a dog without an owner..I am glad he has found a lovely home and now this beautiful chapter of his life has just began and many more great years for him ahead...Bobby boy take gd care and I will see you soon..love you bobby boy :)

P.S: I would oso like to thank the foster C & her husband A for taking such great care of Bobby during his 3 months stay with them..they accepted bobby into their homes with an open heart n took great care of him..without them bobby wouldnt be where he is now..u guys make it happen :) Thank you!

Found a JRT already in SPCA and will be put down by tmr. She wants to go retrieve the JRT from SPCA tmr, however have not found a place to board the dog temporary. She already has 2 dogs, making it difficult to house another 3rd dog. Seeking for temporary foster by tmr latest, if not he will be put down. Have treid calling boarding places but all are full.

Happened to browse this from another's blog and thought it's a meaningful & sweet story to share :)

A Dog's Purpose
Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, andthey were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker 's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.

The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker's Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, "I know why." Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation.

He said, "People are born so that they can learn how to live a good Life like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?" The six-year-old continued, "Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long."

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Havent been updating this blog recently cause I am a little lazy..hehe

4 more days and bobby will be going to his new home :) Visited him last weekend and went to petsmover but didn't really take photo as the weather wasn't gd....For all that are concern about bobby..he's doing really great and as lovable as ever :)

Btw, Mary & Cherry have shifted to a new boarding home yesterday, where they get to run ard the yard freely..this boarding is so much better than the small kennels that they were staying at, where they have no room to move ard & no freedom at all...that place is really not a place for dogs to stay..it's really not well kept at all and the place stinks badly and i belive the dogs living there have nv stepped out of their small kennels at all...

My heart really goes out to them. It is really a pity that the dogs have to live life that way :(..its heartbreaking to see them live each day like no different from any other days. Its as if they are living for death - just living in this world and waiting for the day to leave this world..To see them live a meaningless life, i sometimes think that maybe to let them run free in the wild would be better. To lock them up in the kennels everyday w/o walks or play or anyone to love them, is as gd as sentencing them to death sentence. Just that this death sentence slowly torture them with boredom and eventually they leave this world quietly w/o anyone bothering about it :(

After bobby's adopted, I hope to dedicate some of my time for these dogs in the shelter :)

My pirate boy & gerger are doing great too..they always make my day whenever I am down. I cannot imagine my life without these 2 rascals :)

The Special Day for Bobby - 12 September 2008

This will be the day that Bobby will start his new life with M&D. We have confirmed this date to be suitable, since M&D will be back from their trip that week and D will be off on the weekends and M off on Monday & Tuesday..they both felt that they need to spend more time with him since Bobby will be at a new environment..they are really thoughtful pple..

Have been in touch with M over emails on the items to get for bobby for his arrival..and through the email correspond I am sure Bobby have found great owners that will dote on him :)

Bobby Boy - I hope you be happy with this arrangement. I am sure you will! Things might be confusing for intial start but I am sure you will do just fine and adjust to your new home..I hope you will enjoy your life from then onwards, be loved, be cared for and most importantly be the happy Bobby that I knew from the start...I have enjoyed myself for the past 2 months hanging out with you and I must say you have been the cutest and good boy I have met so far...you have touched my life and will continue to do so..I will definately visit you and bring you out often...Love you my dearest Bobby Boy :)

It's been a quiet week.."thanks" to the wet weather, I wasnt able to bring bobby out on the weekends...anyway would like to thank all of you for the well wishes and concern..we are preparing for bobby's move into his new home and his adopters are really excited about him going over and they too are preparing all the necessary stuffs for him when he shifts over on the 2nd week of september :)

Many were asking what if Bobby's adopter decided to go back UK for good then what will happen to him? Don't worry, I have actually checked this with his adopters and they would be more than glad to bring him back along with them..they treat him like part of their family..and i believe they will do their best to keep him by their side...

All is going well..am trying to spend more time with bobby before he goes to his new home :)

I think Bobby has found that special someone....

Yes, yesterday the viewing turned out really better than I had expected...both of them M & D were really happy with Bobby and we even brought him out for a walk.. or should i say Bobby brought us out for a walk..because halfway through we almost lost our way...

I feel that both M & D are genuine adopters and they will definately provide Bobby with a great home...and I am sure Bobby will have a great life ahead with both of them :)

Bobby will still be at the foster home till M & D come back from their holidays which will be anytime on the week of 8 sept 2008. That will be the day Bobby can have a home that belongs to him :) Someone to love him for the rest of his life...

I feel blessed to be given the chance and to have met bobby (he has a very special place in my heart even though he is going to a new home soon) and even happier to know that he will have a home sweet home very soon - a place where he will live the rest of his life in, a place where he will exprience love & happiness, a place where he will learn n grow and forget all the unhappy past that had happened to him...This is the day all of us including bobby have been waiting for...I hope that when he goes over to his new home i will still have the chance to bring him out once in a while...

What worries me now would be Bobby's first few days at his new home..He will definately be a little wary and scared..and of course i forsee that he will refuse to eat for a few days..but i m sure he will get over it very soon..i hope :)

I am gona miss every bit of bobby...but i know he will be happy..and i will still have the chance to visit him too :)

Btw, I will still continue to update about bobby even after he goes to his new home :)

Whether the guy you are dating will enjoy the date?

For this case, its a happy feeling to know that someone out there is willing to give bobby a chance by coming to see him (just like the feeling of being dated out by guy u had a crush on)..many questions in my mind. Whether the viewing will go fine? (Whether the date will go on fine?) Whether bobby will behave himself? (Whether i will look ok when i go on the date?) Whether the potential adopters will take a liking for Bobby? (Whether my crush will take a liking for me?) So many questions in my mind now, with the hope that bobby will find a great home (With the hope of being accepted by the guy and to date again)....

As planned...I had a great rest this weekend...Sat was spent with my 2 furkids...just hanging ard playing and had a long long walk too...yesterday brought bobby to M&M for a short half an hr swim at the pool...I think he's kinda hates the pool so I had to drag him into the pool and ended getting myself all wet... :S Bobby looks kinda cute when he swim...he tries to swim very very fast in hope that he can quickly get out of the pool...he would much prefer to hang ard with dogs at M&M I think....

After the swimming session, brought him over to petsmover to buy some dog stuffs and also let bobby run about at the dog run...we spent about an hr there...coz it was gona rain so had to cut short the outing....but i am sure he enjoyed himself swimming....

Side Note: I think the whole Singapore would have known by now that Singapore has won a silver medal in the olympics after 48 yrs of wait...I managed to watch the match and i must say they put on a gd fight but just that china is a stronger team...nonetheless i am proud that at least they made it to the top three. 3 Cheers for them :)

The Bf is almost done with reservist...so as of yesterday we had an official return-of-car-key ceremony..just kidding...i meant that i returned his car back to him and now i am back to squeezing like sardines on the MRT to and fro from work...at least i had the privilege to drive the car the whole of last week while he is at reservist...it was quite fun and of coz it saves alot of time & is convenient. But it eventually made be become a lazy woman the whole of last week....i drove the car even whem i was going sumwhere like 5-10mins walk away :)..well i guess that's a new driver's behaviour - to drive as and when possible even when it's within walking distance..Bye Suzuki sx4...im gona miss drivin u :)

Well weekend is drawing near...many things to do...

Sat - Will be pirate's & ger ger's day. Also a day that they hate...coz they know that I will be bathing them every sat..hehe..they hate water to the core..when they noe it's time to bathe, they will run away and I would have to drag them to the waterpipe to bathe..Bathing them is as good as bathing myself..I am totally drenched after bathing them...

Also, I haven had the chance to really spend time with them recently, due to work and bobby. Kinda feeling bad about it. So I shall declare Saturday - My furkid's day :)

Sunday - Will be bringing bobby out and meet a fren (with her golden). Let them play and interact. Am also thinking of bring him for swim..he kinda enjoy taking dips in the water and swimming. Afterwhich, if there's time may bring bobby to the west to visit the uncle who is missing bobby so much :) Also, there will be another potential adopter coming to visit bobby...

Tuesday - A cuple from UK is keen to adopt bobby, and we will be meeting at foster place at night for them to see bobby. Hopefully things will turn out well..

I hope i can see bobby go to a new home soon.. Not that it's a hassle taking care of him or netiher am i lazy to bring him out..but i would love to see him live in a home of his own..to have a family that loves him and give him the 100% love n care that he deserves :) Wish Bobby luck!
