Mary & Cherry

Just a short update on Mary & Cherry here.

They have been shifted to a new boarding kennel and are being boarded there at $300 monthly. Esther has been visiting them and also paying for their boarding. Under her care, they both have blossomed into lovely & sweet dogs..

Mary is getting fatter & Esther is working to get Cherry to be less afraid of strangers. They both get to visit PMDR on the weekends and they are still looking for a lovely home and a family to love them...

If you could, do drop by to say hello to them if you are at PMDR during the weekends. If you could, do pass the msg ard and pray for them to find a loving home
If you could, do give them a chance to be your dog if you are looking for a dog companion

Any form of help will be greatly appreciated...

Bad news come one after another...

Got a sms from Jingjing - the rescuer of mary & cherry. She mentioned that she was told by one of the auntie that a neighbour had made complain to AVA about the place where mary & cherry are boarding is very dirty and smelly and the neighbour is going to get AVA to get them...

The siblings are residing at a old private house which was rented by an auntie who house her rescued cats there...in order to keep the siblings there, jingjing has been forking out money to board the 2 siblings there all these while..though the 2 siblings are staying in the yard full of weeds (but of course with shelter)..but that is also the place that the siblings are contented to live in (despite the environment), a place that gave them assurance and safety. Jingjing and partner always make the effort to go and visit the siblings during the weekend, to clean up the area and bathe the 2 siblings..i tink this is the best they can do out of the busy schedule..

Usually on weekdays, the auntie who rent the unit will feed the siblings at night (because she herself has her own daytime job and she is not staying there, but just renting the place to house her rescue cats)..however i tink she does not have the time to clean up the place and all the pee n poo from the siblings, thus leading to the place being very smelly and resulting in neighbour's complain..

Now, with the neighbour threats the siblings' lives are in danger..firstly they are not licensed..secondly there is no one stayin at the plce, only with nightly visit by the auntie to feed them n her cats, so AVA can cum catch them anytime without our knowledge..lastly the neighbour is serious about getting AVA and we need to vacate them soon, but with our limited budget, we are unable to find a suitable place to house the siblings..

Have tried rehoming them but to no avail. Now, we are seeking for help to foster, adopter or suggestion of cheap alternative boarding to house the 2 lovely siblings...before AVA comes and get them..just when the siblings are settling down at the place they call home, things like this have to happen...

These 2 siblings are really very sweet gers...good with animals, good with human and kids too..they are such lovely gers and definately sweet in tempermant...they have come a long way from being found thin to their bones and now they have made tremendous improvement and gained weight through the care of jingjing..just when things seemed to have improved, bad things have to happen..

Now, we sincerely seek for genuine folks to help in anyway to can for these 2 siblings that have gone through so much in their lives..they really deserves to be loved...

Some updates....

Havent been updating this blog recently cause I am a little lazy..hehe

4 more days and bobby will be going to his new home :) Visited him last weekend and went to petsmover but didn't really take photo as the weather wasn't gd....For all that are concern about bobby..he's doing really great and as lovable as ever :)

Btw, Mary & Cherry have shifted to a new boarding home yesterday, where they get to run ard the yard freely..this boarding is so much better than the small kennels that they were staying at, where they have no room to move ard & no freedom at all...that place is really not a place for dogs to stay..it's really not well kept at all and the place stinks badly and i belive the dogs living there have nv stepped out of their small kennels at all...

My heart really goes out to them. It is really a pity that the dogs have to live life that way :(..its heartbreaking to see them live each day like no different from any other days. Its as if they are living for death - just living in this world and waiting for the day to leave this world..To see them live a meaningless life, i sometimes think that maybe to let them run free in the wild would be better. To lock them up in the kennels everyday w/o walks or play or anyone to love them, is as gd as sentencing them to death sentence. Just that this death sentence slowly torture them with boredom and eventually they leave this world quietly w/o anyone bothering about it :(

After bobby's adopted, I hope to dedicate some of my time for these dogs in the shelter :)

My pirate boy & gerger are doing great too..they always make my day whenever I am down. I cannot imagine my life without these 2 rascals :)

Busy at work...

It has been a busy week at work...very draining...thus didn't have the chance to update the blog...

Some updates on Bobby:
He is as usual the happy Bobby happily hopping ard at the foster home :) Have a potential adopter interested to see him coming Monday evening. Hope all goes well for him...I really have no idea where to house him if no one adopts him :( I really hope he can find a gd home soon..

Updates on Mary & Cherry
Both still at the keneel. Rescuer contemplating to switch them to a better kennel where they would have better care and more room to roam. With the tight budget we have now Mary & Cherry has no choice but to stay at the current kennel. Seriously the cleanliness and care in the current kennel is really not ideal. The space they have is really very limited and with us working they wont be able to get their walk everyday too..It's sad to see them at the current kennel now...Hope rescuer will be able to find a better kennel soon...

Since I gotten my license on Monday, I haven't had the chance to drive yet. Hopeing that my bf will be able to book out from reservist today so that i can drive his car :) I am sure going to be nervous but yet excited :)

I hope everyone will have a great weekend, including myself... Have yet to plan where to bring bobby to this weekend..Have ran out of ideas already..Any suggestions are welcome :)

Some Random updates:
Btw, will be bringing Bobby to JingJing's home to stay tmr till Tuesday, coz foster going for holiday. I hope Bobby will enjoy his stay at JingJings' home with nwe playmates to play with..

Also Cherry has been sterilised, vaccine and microchipped. A kind lady offered to fetch Cherry to n fro from the vet FOC & also offered to pay for the vaccine and microchipped. Thanks so much for your contribution :)

So right now both Mary & Cherry has been sterilised, vaccined & microchipped. Just short of one more thing for them and everything will be just perfect - A home of their own...

Finally decided on a name for Mary's sister..

Mary's sister is on it's way to the vet for sterilisation now. Hope everything goes well for her :) A kind soul has offered to transport the sister for free to the vet and fro. Would like to take this opportunity to thank her for the kind offer, it is really very much appreciated as it helps to lessen our cost.

We have been calling Mary's sister, Mary's sibling for a long time. And finally we have decided to give her a name rather than keep calling her Maryy's sibling. We felt that we needed to give this sweet girl some form of identification, thus we have decided to call her Cherry.

We hope that she will be as sweet as a Cherry is and blossom into a beautiful cherry and be well loved and eventually find a good home.

On a side note, Bobby boy will be going to Jing Jing place from 25 July - 29 July as his foster will be going for a short trip. I hope bobby boy will enjoy himself over at JingJing's place with all her doggies :) Btw, he is still looking for a sweet sweet home...and so are Mary & Cherry (Doesn't it rhymes? Heez)

Mary has blossom into a real beauty...from being a very skinny with patchy fur, she has turned into a beautiful, friendly and sweet tempered dog :) Do give her a chance to exprience love again...

Note: Mary was previously named Beauty but friends and all decided to change her name to Mary. We have yet to name Mary's sister yet, am thinking of calling her Faith.

We are looking for affordable transport to fetch Mary's sister to the vet for sterilisation...

Do let me know if you / know of anyone that provides affordable transport, as we need the transport to fetch Mary's sister (rescued stray) to the vet to sterilise and from there back to the boarding place.

There wont be anyone following the dog as we all need to work. Thus we need the transport person to be comfortable with transporting on his/her own. Mary's sister is a gentle dog, so no worries.

We need afforable transport because our budget is kinda tight. Preferably weekdays Thanks!

Visited Mary & Sister yesterday..Some updates on Bobby in the next post...

We went to visit Mary & sister at the boarding kennel yesterday. Mary as usual was very happy to have visitors to visit her and she was her bubbly self :) She very much enjoy both human and doggy frens companion..Indeed a Beauty and she is doing really great...

Mary's sister is also now at the same boarding place with Mary. Sister only weighs a mere 14kg which is way too skinny for her built. Will pump her up slowly and in no time she will be as healthy and beefy as Mary gal..Both Mary and sister are great to dogs and human companions, though sister is still a little wary of human (but she is gentle as a lady should still :)

Brought them out for a short walk and sister seems kinda reluctant to leave the boarding place area (out of the place where she feels safe) and out for a walk. Had to drag her abit though but eventually she realised that the outside world is in fact not that scary too..

Btw, will update more pictures on Bobby Boy's outing on Sunday, to PMDR later in the night. Btw, Bobby boy is still looking for a home. Do give him a chance if you are seeking for a companion. He will make a great company. Trust me!

Also more photos coming up on my 2 furkids (Pirate & Gerger). We brought both out to East Coast on Friday Night
